Brandon Laam, underwriter

NAPA, CA, August 31, 2018 – Paul Hanson Partners is very excited to announce that Brandon Laam has joined our Mover’s Choice team! Brandon joined the industry on the retail agency side and in 2014, was approached to assist in the development of a startup Managing General Agency. Through success and increasing responsibilities, Laam became the Vice President of Operations for Across America Insurance, a startup program administrator for a new risk retention group liability carrier, Platinum Transport Insurance, RRG which began business in June of 2015.

Chief Underwriting Officer, Terri Moran states, “Brandon brings a broad background in transportation risks as well as a unique understanding of retail brokers operations and program management that will enable him to profitably grow our Mover’s Choice and other program business.”

Today, Laam joins Paul Hanson Partners as an underwriter under the Mover’s Choice Program division. Laam states, “I’m very excited to be working side by side with industry professionals that have the knowledge, experience and drive to grow new programs. PHP has been a great transition for me, and I can see everyone here has two common goals which are steady growth and evolving success.”
