Grateful. For so many things:
- My family and friends
- Our broker partners, insureds and wonderful co-workers
- Working for a company that makes service a priority. We partner with Move For Hunger to provide hunger relief AND we days “on” to perform community service!
Last week I made meals for my local homeless shelter for National Hunger and Homelessness Awareness Week. My mom and I baked bread from my gramp’s recipes and made gran’s Italian sausage and pasta with marinara. Hmmmm, the smell of baking bread and simmering sauce put me in a festive mood.
Show your gratefulness this holiday season and do a little to help the less fortunate! If cooking’s not your thing, donate canned food, your time or money.
Spread the love, y’all and hope you had a Great-ful Thanksgiving!

Penny, your dedication to community service has rubbed off on me! I just signed up to do chores and errands for home-bound seniors. I’ll be raking leaves and clearing snow for a neighbor so he doesn’t risk a fall. Oh boy, I might get a reputation as a nice guy. (Shhh!)
Speaking of wet leaves and snow…I’ll bet you know what I’m going to say next, don’t you? Black ice and burst pipes and snow — oh, yeah! It’s that time again, folks! Get ready and check out the Mover’s Choice Dispatch for Winter Weather Preparedness Resources.
